The City of Norfolk has awarded Seawing to design, manufacture and install a new Mobile Gangway to the Norfolk Cruise Terminal.
Carnival Cruise Line has signed a five-year agreement with the City of Norfolk, Virginia to operate seasonal cruises from the Half Moone Cruise Terminal through 2025.
Carnival’s 130,000 GRT Carnival Magic will become the largest cruise vessel ever to homeport in the city when it begins operations there in 2021. The vessel, which is carrying more than 4000 passengers, will sail several voyages from Norfolk to the Bahamas, Bermuda and the Caribbean every season.
The Seawing Mobile Passenger Loading Bridge will allow a large variety of modern cruise vessels to be served at the Norfolk Half Moone Cruise Terminal.
